Sorare Ranks Update #23 - September 7th, 2023
First-ever rare top prize in the books!
It happened fam. After taking home first place in two different limited competitions earlier in the season, I snagged my first gold medal in a rare competition for GW 43.
As I talked about in last week’s edition of the Soranks I was unsure if this team had what it was going to take to win first place. Not because it was a bad team, but because ATL vs. COL was a play that lacked the element of surprise.
As I mentioned to Hunter on the podcast, if this team were to win it would be because I leaned more into the Braves stack than anyone else. Turns out, luck was on my side and that is exactly what happened.
It was a sweat, and my nerves were a mess during that final game, but it ended up all being worth it.
My team, composed almost entirely of rewards won during this season, took home the top prize. What a ride!
